Chocolate Affogato al Caffè
If chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream, coffee and whipped cream sound good, you'll love this classic Italian dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon of chocolate sauce
- 2 small scoops of chocolate ice cream
- 2 shots of espresso (or 1/4 cup of strongly brewed coffee)
- 1/4 cup of whipped cream
- chocolate shavings (garnish)
- espresso powder (garnish)
Instructions
- Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate sauce into the bottom of a small heat proof dessert glass
- Top with 2 small scoops of chocolate ice cream
- Pour 2 shots of espresso or 1/4 cup of strongly brewed coffee over the ice cream
- Top with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings and espresso powder (optional)
