A great salad dressing can really make or break the bowl of veggies that it is drizzled over and in about 5 minutes with minimal ingredients and zero special skills required, you can make a flavorful, healthy salad dressing right in your own kitchen.
This week, I have been on a serious mediterranean food kick, so I decided to whip up some of my favorite lemon feta salad dressing to pair with a greek salad and I am adding it to the blog so you can make your own. It is bright and citrusy with lots of herbs and just the right amount of feta to add that creaminess that will make your salads addictively delicious.

This dressing is similar to my creamy italian salad dressing, but we are swapping the vinegar for fresh lemon juice and the parm for feta. This dressing is so fabulous and all you’ll need to whip up a batch is 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 cup of feta, a clove of garlic, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, 1 teaspoon of honey, 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley, 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper and 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
You can combine this dressing in several ways and the texture will vary depending on the method you use…
You can vigorously whisk everything together, but the feta will only be loosened up a bit leaving your dressing full of crumbles. I like this, but if you prefer a smoother dressing, you can blend it together until smooth. If I am in a hurry, I like to grab my frother, but if I want this dressing super smooth and fully blended, I will combined everything in a blender.
Any of these methods will work great!
Now that everything is combined, drizzle it over anything and you are going to love it.

Lemon Feta Dressing
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 cup of feta cheese
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried Greek oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until completely combined
- Use immediately or chill in an airtight container until ready to use
