I have been super obsessed with fresh dill lately. I love what it adds to a wide variety of dishes, it looks so beautiful and it fills my kitchen with a wonderfully fresh fragrance. Well, today I am making cobb salads and I wanted to make a very special dressing to accompany them.
Enter: Fresh Dill.
This dressing is fantastic. It is like a light, citrusy version of tzatziki sauce and I am officially obsessed with it. I added it to my cobb salad and it was fabulous, but I can also see it spooned over crispy fried fish, fish tacos, as a chip dip or over any other salad you choose to enjoy it with.
Let’s get it started…
This recipe will make two healthy sized servings, so just expand it if you want more of this goodness hanging around your kitchen (and why wouldn’t you?).
Combine 1/4 cup of plain full fat greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of sour cream, 1/2 teaspoon of minced or crushed garlic, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of black pepper and about a tablespoon of fresh dill fronds that have been very finely chopped and whisk until fully combined. Squeeze the juice from half of 1 lemon and half of 1 lime into the dressing and mix until everything is fully incorporated.
Smother this bright, zesty, creamy citrus dill dressing over everything you want and I am quite confident that you will never be disappointed in what it adds to your dishes.
Enjoy this one friends.
