Cilantro Garlic Yogurt Sauce

If your meals feel like they are missing a little something then you could be in need of a delicious yogurt sauce. Its amazing how a cool, creamy sauce can really bring a dish together and this one pairs well with a wide variety of recipes from grilled chicken to roasted vegetables and fried fish to a rice bowl.

This yogurt sauce comes together in just about a minute and is super easy to customize the flavors to pair perfectly with whatever you are cooking. This cilantro garlic yogurt sauce is fresh, garlicky and tangy and you’ll love what it adds to so many dishes.

Let’s get started…

All you need to bring this creamy sauce together is 3/4 cup of plain full fat Greek yogurt (you can also use sour cream or crema), 2 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh cilantro, 1 finely minced clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon of honey and 1-2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice depending on how loose you prefer your sauce to be.

Just whisk everything together and add salt and black pepper to taste. If you prefer another herb, you can swap out the cilantro for parsley, dill or oregano. If you don’t have limes at home, you can use lemons or even oranges and if you are a huge fan of garlic, add more in! This sauce is really easy to play with.

Once your sauce is ready, all you have to do is drizzle it over something delicious and enjoy! It makes a wonderful dip for sweet potato fries, chicken tenders and potato chips and it adds something special to roast chicken, a warm salad or a rice bowl.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
