Sweet chili sauce pairs well with so many dishes, but what if we made this classic a little more creamy?
This creamy version of my sweet Thai chili sauce is delicious. It is salty, sweet and full of umami. I love it as a dip for coconut chicken or shrimp, served along side a crispy fish filet or drizzled over noodles. This creamy sauce is a versatile pairing for so many asian inspired comfort foods and you’re going to love it!
Let’s get started…
Simple combine 2/3 cup of good quality mayo (I love Duke’s!) with 1/4 cup of sweet thai chili sauce, 1 clove of grated garlic, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of lime juice in a small bowl. Whisk until everything is fully combined and then do a quick taste test to see if you need another splash of soy or lime juice.
This creamy sweet Thai chili sauce is so simple to bring together and really quite delicious, so the next time you need a creamy asian inspired sauce to pair with whatever you are cooking up, give this creamy sweet Thai chili sauce a try. You’re going to love it!
