Baked Baguette Croutons

Buttery, crunchy croutons seasoned to pair with any soup or salad.

Ingredients

  • a medium baguette, cubed
  • 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried Italian herbs
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  • Place the cubed baguette onto a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil 
  • Toss the bread cubes in the olive oil and then sprinkle the seasoning over
  • Toss again until all of the bread is lightly coated in olive oil and seasoned generously
  • Bake in a 400 degree oven for 8-12 minutes or until the croutons are crisp (croutons will become a bit more crisp as they cool)
  • Serve immediately and store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature
