Berries & Goat Cheese Crostini
Crisp crostini topped with a creamy goat cheese spread, sweet berries, walnuts and balsamic.

- a small loaf of ciabatta, Italian bread or French baguette, thinly sliced
- 4 ounces of goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
- fresh berries, whole or sliced
- 1/4 cup of walnuts, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup of fresh herbs, finely chopped
- balsamic glaze or reduction
- a pinch of sea salt and black pepper
In a small bowl, combine 4 ounces of goat cheese, 2 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice until smooth and creamy
Finely chop 1/4 cup of walnuts and 1/4 cup of fresh herbs
Top each crostini with a bit of the goat cheese mixture and some fresh berries
Sprinkle some finely chopped walnuts and herbs over each piece, drizzle with balsamic and sprinkle lightly with sea salt and black pepper
