Berry Lime Sorbet

A simple sorbet full of fresh strawberries, raspberries, lime and cranberry juice. No ice cream maker required!

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces of fresh raspberries
  • 16 ounces of fresh strawberries, stems removed
  • 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice
  • 1/4-3/4 cup of cranberry juice
  • 1 tablespoon of guarana, honey or maple syrup (optional)

Instructions

  • Place the strawberries and raspberries on a baking sheet or plastic cutting board and freeze them for 1-2 hours
  • Place the frozen berries into a high speed blender or food processor
  • Add 1/2 cup of fresh lime juice and 1/4 cup of cranberry juice in with the frozen berries
  • Blend until smooth, adding additional cranberry juice, if necessary
  • Taste and add 1 tablespoon of guarana, honey or maple syrup, if you prefer more sweetness
  • Transfer the mixture into a freezer proof container, cover tightly and freeze for several hours or until your desired consistency is developed
  • Enjoy!
