Chicken Bacon Ranch Wraps

The classic combination of seasoned chicken, crisp bacon and zesty ranch in a tortilla wrap.

Ingredients

  • 6 strips of thick cut bacon
  • 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast, chopped small
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika
  • a pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6-8 leaves of leafy green lettuce, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup of tomatoes (diced)
  • 2-4 flour tortillas

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  • Place the bacon onto a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes at 400 degrees, turning half way through
  • Place the cooked bacon onto a paper towel lined plate to remove excess grease
  • Chop bacon into bite sized pieces and set aside
  • Chop 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast into bite size pieces and season with onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, paprika and cayenne
  • Place 1 tablespoon of butter into a skillet and place it over medium heat
  • Add the chicken into the skillet and brown on all sides
  • Transfer the chicken into a bowl and set aside
  • Shred 4 ounces of sharp cheddar cheese and set aside
  • Wash and chop up 6-8 leaves of leafy green lettuce and set aside
  • Assembled wraps by adding ranch dressing, chicken, bacon, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce and wrapping as you would a burrito
  • Serve warm or chilled
