Chocolate Flaxseed Pudding

- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1/2 cup of ground flaxseeds
- 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup (to taste)
- dark chocolate, finely chopped (optional)
Combine 1 cup of almond milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1/2 cup of ground flaxseed and 1-2 tablespoons of maple syrup (depending on how sweet you prefer your pudding) and whisk until all of the ingredients are fully combined)
Optionally, add some chopped dark chocolate into the mixture
Divide the mixture between two airtight bowls and chill for at least 30 minutes
Enjoy garnished with fresh fruit or finely chopped chocolate
