Chocolate Ganache

A simple, successful chocolate ganache recipe requiring 2 ingredients and only 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of chocolate, chopped (preferably semi-sweet or dark)
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream, hot

Instructions

  • Heat 1/4 cup of heavy cream to just before simmering in a saucepan over medium high heat or in a microwave for about 20 seconds
  • Pour the hot heavy cream over 1/3 cup of chopped chocolate and let it sit for 5 minutes undisturbed
  • After 5 minutes, whisk until smooth and glossy
  • Use immediately
