Cranberry Apple Sauce
A delicious apple and brown sugar twist on classic cranberry sauce.

- 12 ounces of fresh cranberries
 - 1 large apple, peeled and diced
 - 3/4 cup of apple juice, cranberry juice or cider
 - 3/4 cup of brown sugar
 - 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
 - 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
 - 1/8 teaspoon of salt
 
 
Combine all of the ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat 
Simmer for 15-20 minutes or until tender and slightly reduced 
Transfer into a bowl and set aside to cool 
Serve at room temperature or chill in an airtight container until ready to serve
