Creamy Chai Oats

- 2 cups of old fashioned oats
- 3 1/2 cups of unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 cup of heavy cream
- 2-3 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of all spice
- 1/4 teaspoon of cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon of cardamom
- a pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- granola (garnish)
- almond milk (garnish)
Combine 3 1/2 cups of almond milk and 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a medium saucepan and bring to a low simmer over medium high heatĀ
Add 2 cups of old fashioned oats, 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/4 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of all spice, 1/4 teaspoon of cloves, 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/8 teaspoon of cardamom, a pinch of black pepper and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and whisk until completely combinedĀ
Simmer for about 6 minutes or as instructed by the manufacturers instructions.
Garnish with granola and a splash of almond milk
