French 1234 Yogurt Cake
A simple French classic yogurt cake based on a single yogurt container. It is moist, tender and easy to flavor with fresh citrus or your favorite extracts.

- 1 5 ounce container of whole milk yogurt
- 1 5 ounce container of a neutral oil
- 2 5 ounce containers of granulated sugar
- 3 5 ounce containers of all purpose flour
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 of a 5 ounce container of fresh citrus juice
- 1 tablespoon of fresh citrus zest
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Combine a 5 ounce container of yogurt with a 5 ounce container of a neutral oil and 4 large eggs until smooth
Add two 5 ounce containers of granulated sugar, three 5 ounce containers of all purpose flour, a tablespoon of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and mix until just combined
Add 1/2 of a 5 ounce container of fresh citrus juice and a tablespoon of fresh citrus zest (optional)
Transfer the batter into a greased and parchment lined loaf pan
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50-55 minutes or until the top of the loaf is golden brown and a toothpick will come out of the center clean
Let the loaf cool slightly before slicing and enjoying
