Garlic Butter Steak Bites

Bite sized pieces of steak seasoned up generously and tossed in a simple, but delicious garlic butter.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of steak (sirloin, tenderloin or New York strip)
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon of steak seasoning
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 3 cloves of garlic, finely minced

Instructions

  • Cut 2 pounds of steak into bite sized pieces and place into a large bowl
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of steak seasoning and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper to the steak and mix until all of the pieces are generously coated in seasoning
  • Add a tablespoon of butter and a tablespoon of olive oil into a large skillet placed over medium to medium high heat
  • Once the skillet is warm and the butter has melted, place the steak bites into the skillet in a single layer
  • Cook until the underside of each piece is golden brown and then flip the pieces and cook until they are done to your preference
  • Reduce the heat to medium low and push the steak bites to one side of the skillet
  • Add 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 cloves of finely minced garlic into the empty side of the skillet and cook the garlic for about 60 seconds or until it is fragrant and the butter has melted
  • Mix the steak bites into the garlic butter and enjoy!
