Maple Orange Glazed Pork Skewers
Tender pork skewers with sweet peppers and onions brushed in a sweet, sticky maple orange glaze. Perfect over a campfire, your grill or right in your kitchen.

- 3 pounds of pork tenderlion or pork shoulder, cubed
- 3 large sweet bell pepper
- 1 large yellow onion
Dry Rub Mixture
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
Maple Orange Glaze
- 1/3 cup of fresh orange juice
- 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup
Combine the dry rub ingredients and set aside for now
Whisk 1/3 cup of fresh orange juice into 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup and set aside for now
Cut your pork, peppers and onions into 1 inch chunks
Thread the pork, peppers and onions onto skewers alternating as you go
Generously season the skewers on all sides with the dry rub mixture
Grill or sear the skewers over a fire grate, grill or cast iron skillet or griddle over medium to medium high heat until all sides are golden brown and the pork is cooked to your liking
Reduce the heat and begin brushing the skewers with the maple orange glaze turning as you go until all sides are generously glazed and the glaze begins to caramelize
