- 2 cups pecans, whole or rough chopped
- 1 extra large egg white (or two small egg whites)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon all spice
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Line a small sheet pan with foil
Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter into the pan
Combine the egg white, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and spices in a medium bowl
Add the pecans and toss until they are all well coated
Spread the coated pecans in a single layer over the sheet pan
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing occasionally
Allow the spiced candied pecans to cool for 15 minutes before serving
