Spiced Candied Pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans, whole or rough chopped
  • 1 extra large egg white (or two small egg whites)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon all spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • Line a small sheet pan with foil
  • Add 4 tablespoons of melted butter into the pan
  • Combine the egg white, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar and spices in a medium bowl
  • Add the pecans and toss until they are all well coated
  • Spread the coated pecans in a single layer over the sheet pan
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20-25 minutes, tossing occasionally
  • Allow the spiced candied pecans to cool for 15 minutes before serving
