Ciabatta Croutons

Homemade croutons are one of the easiest ways to transform a regular salad into something special and these ciabatta croutons are as easy as tear, season and bake.

They have crunchy edges, but chewy centers and soak up both the seasoning and the flavors of your salad dressing really well! You are going to love these croutons.

Let’s get started…

Start by tearing a small loaf of ciabatta into crouton sized pieces. Sometimes I like bigger pieces and sometimes I like tiny little pieces, so tear them how you like them!

Add a generous drizzle of olive oil and toss the pieces around until they are all lightly coated in oil.

For the seasoning, I always keep some garlic salt with parsley in my pantry and this works perfectly on these croutons, but if you do not have this on hand then a teaspoon of garlic powder and a big pinch of sea salt will work great too!

Give everything another quick toss to make sure all of the ciabatta is well seasoned and then bake them in a 375 degree oven until they are golden brown and crisp.

If you want them all evenly toasted then be sure to toss them around a bit as they bake to make sure all of the edges get a little love…

Would you take a look at these beautiful croutons? They are so crunchy and chewy and garlicky… perfect on pretty much any salad, so if you are looking a simple way to make your salads just a little more interesting then you should definitely give these ciabatta croutons a try.

I know you are going to love them!
