Flavoring your whipped cream is one of the easiest ways to take your desserts to the next level and espresso is one of the best flavors to pair with chocolate, so this espresso whipped cream is something that I whip up often and once you taste it spooned over chocolate pudding, chocolate cake or chocolate pancakes, you will start making it often too.
Let’s get started…
If this is your first time making whipped cream, prepare to have your mind blown. All you need to do is combine 2/3 cup cold heavy cream with 1 1/2 teaspoons of espresso powder, 3 tablespoons of sifted confectioners sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract and a little pinch of salt in a mixing bowl.
Use an electric hand mixer on low to combine the ingredients and then increase the speed to medium and whip until soft or stiff peaks have formed, depending on how you like your whipped cream.
This espresso whipped cream is totally fabulous and if a miracle happens and you have some left over, spoon it over your coffee or hot chocolate or drag some pretzels through it… its perfect however you decide to enjoy it.
Promise.
If you loved this espresso whipped cream, I definitely think you should give these whipped creams a try too…
