Fall is here and while I am a chai all year kind of gal, I especially love pairing it with other fall ingredients like pumpkin, apple and of course… maple. These maple chai blondies are a little chewy and a little cakey with the best warmly spiced maple flavors. Perfect with a cup of coffee, perfect with a PSL, perfect for the fall.
Let’s get started…

Begin by whisking 2 cups of brown sugar into a cup of melted butter until fully combined and then whisk in 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup, 2 large eggs, 2 large egg yolks and a teaspoon of pure vanilla extract and a teaspoon of maple extract if you have some on hand.
Add 2 cups of all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon of cloves, 1/4 teaspoon of cardamom, 2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1 teaspoon of salt and mix until everything is just combined.

Spread the batter evenly into a greased and parchment lined 9″x13″ baking dish. I like to sprinkle some course sugar over the top of the batter to add a little crunch, but this is totally optional!
Bake the blondies in a 350 degree oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick will come out of the center clean.

These maple chai blondies are right in the middle between chewy blondies and cakey blondies, so everyone will love them! They are sweet and warmly spiced with beautiful maple flavor in every bite.

I love baking these blondies up to bring to fall parties or give as holiday gifts. They have a warm welcoming flavor and stay moist and chewy for days at room temperature, so they are a great option to make ahead or even ship!
These maple chai blondies are one the most delicious ways to celebrate fall flavors and I cannot wait for you to give them a try…
