Peanut Butter Whipped Cream

Making homemade whipped cream sounds a lot more posh than it really is. If you have some heavy cream and either an electric hand mixer or a stand mixer, you can make some homemade whipped cream in just a few minutes. You can add a few tablespoons of confectioners sugar to make a simple classic version of whipped cream or you can add something a little more exciting….

Last Thanksgiving, I added my brown sugar whipped cream recipe and everyone loved it, but today I am really excited to introduce you to this peanut butter whipped cream. It is so delicious and the perfect match for anything chocolate… cupcakes, pancakes, slices of cake, ice cream cake… you get the idea and I am happy to say that you only need three simple ingredients to whip yourself up a batch of this fabulous creamy treat.

Three ingredients. Super delicious. Goes with everything. What are you waiting for?

Let’s get started…

All you will need is some cold heavy cream, some creamy peanut butter and confectioners sugar. Easy, right?

To make about 2 cups of peanut butter whipped cream, combine 1 cup of cold heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of room temperature creamy peanut butter and 1/4 cup of confectioners sugar in a large bowl (if using an electric hand mixer) or the bowl of a stand mixer with the whisk attachment installed.

Whip on medium to medium high speed until soft peaks form. If you prefer your whipped cream to be more on the stiff side, continue whipping until stiff peaks form. Keep an eye on the whipped cream as it whips. Things may seem like they are starting slow, but you may be surprised at just how quickly heavy cream can transition from soft, loose peaks into a stiff blob of butter, so keep your eye on things.

This is the consistency that I typically aim for. When I pull my whisk out of the bowl, the whipped cream will hold its shape and not droop over. If it droops, I whip it for another 10-20 seconds and check again.

Once your whipped cream is ready, you can scoop it into a bowl or transfer it into a piping bag, if you want to make things a little fancy.

Look at that creamy, smooth peanut buttery goodness. With just the right amount of sweetness and beautiful peanut butter flavor, this whipped cream is unique and addictively delicious.

Whether you need something to dollop on top of a slice of chocolate cake, swirl on top of some chocolate cupcakes or add to pancakes or waffles, this peanut butter whipped cream is exactly what you need.

You are going to love this whipped cream…
