With two simple ingredients, you can whip up a smooth, creamy, super refreshing frozen summer treat that everyone will love. This watermelon sherbet is what I want every hot summer afternoon and once you make it, I am pretty sure that you will feel the same.
Let’s get this started…
To get started, dice up about 5 cups of a nice sweet seedless watermelon, place the cubes on a parchment lined baking sheet and freeze for several hours.
While the watermelon is freezing, gather all of the other ingredients…. 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk and oh wait, thats it! Yep, this watermelon sherbet only requires 2 ingredients!
Once the watermelon is frozen, transfer it into a food processor and add the sweetened condensed milk. Blend until smooth and transfer the sherbet into an airtight freezer proof container and freeze for about 2 hours or until your beautiful pink watermelon sherbet develops your desired consistency.
This sherbet can be enjoyed anywhere from a more silky soft served consistency to a more firm, icy and scoopable consistency. I love the later….
This simple 2 ingredient watermelon sherbet is creamy, sweet and incredibly easy to whip up and even easier to enjoy. This light and refreshing frozen treat is the perfect way to cool off on a warm summer afternoon.
